This Thursday evening Pastor Chadwick preached a passionate message about the key to revival – Love.

“God is love; there can be no revival without a revival of Love.” I Cor. 13:13 says “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. Faith is looking back and believing what God has done; Hope is looking forward in belief of what God will do; Charity IS what God can do through us today! We need to love. There is no excuse for a believer who is rude or a Christian who avoids others problems at all costs. Jesus loved – He loved so much that He gave everything he had to us, even His very life-breath. He loved even those who nailed Him onto the cross.” Luke 23:34: “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”

“The truth is, if I love God and I want revival, than I MUST love – I must love others. You see, we all want revival, but we sometimes neglect the key: love.”

1 John 4:7-11
7: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9: In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10: Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11: Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

As we seek God’s working in our lives, may we remember that Love is key – Pray that God would shine His love through us to those around us today!
